Christmas Eve we went over to Clif’s Parents for dinner, we had tacos that were yummy. Christmas morning we woke up early, mainly because of me Christmas morning is always exciting. Brighton was not so excited he wanted to sleep, but we wanted him awake with us. He kept covering his eyes. (I’m sure next year he will be excited) We opened our presents, we got very nice presents and thank you everyone for the great presents. After we opened presents we went to the conovers (Clif takes care of their son) then to Julies house. After that wee headed to Globe with my family for the weekend. We opened presents on saturday and sunday, My brother john and Brother n law rich both had to work Christmas day so they came up the next day.
Brighton got two shirts(dad), A toy that attaches to his car seat (mom), A guitar outfit (Aunt Julie, Uncle Berto, and Matthew) shirt with Dalmatian overalls (Aunt Kinsey) bath toys (Grandma and Grandpa Peotter) onesies with a guitar sewed on it (grandma and Grandpa Perry) toy that attaches to his car seat, and a stuffed monkey that smells good (the Conrads) Links and socks that rattle (Parker)
Clif got to upgrade his guitar, a oil vial (already broken), the complete series of dairy of a wimpy kid, and cologne (me) A nice tie and belt (Brighton) his line of authority framed (my mom and dad) $50 gift card (Conrads) Christmas blanket (Clifs mom and dad) caramel popcorn (Julie, berto, and matthew)
I got the first and third world wide ward cook book (already had the second) a moby wrap, mirror so I can see brighton in the back seat of the car, and the movie love takes wing(Clif) a cute framed thing (my mom and dad) a cookbook stand and $30 gift card (Conrads) Christmas blanket (Clifs mom and dad) caramel popcorn (Julie, berto, and matthew)
For New Years Eve we really didn’t do anything. We tried to go to Johnny Rockets but they were closed so we went to red robin, then we came home and watched a movie and tried really hard to stay up till midnight. at 11:55 we paused the movie and turned the tv on for the count down. then listened to the new year by death cab for cutie, drank sparkling cider(those are our two new year staples sparking cider and the song) , and finished our movie and went to bed. the next day we went to Thatcher so clif can see if there would be a place he can play a show. I got to hang out with my sister and nephews. I miss them so much.
