He is Here. He was born Nov. 23rd at 5:55 pm. weighing 6lbs and 14 oz. and measuring at 19.5 in.
Tuesday morning i woke up like every 45 mins from 2:30-5 with really bad back pains. finally at 5 i woke Clif up to tell him to hold me it hurt really bad and i don’t know what is going on. it felt like i was having cramps (like the ones i had on my period, i only got them in the back) i finally decided that the may be contractions, because they would come and go. at 5:30 i called my mom and asked if i could get contraction pains only in the back (i have had most of my contractions in the front during the pregnancy) she said yes, and that when she had Verlynne she never had front pain. she said to time how long they were going on for, and how long in between them. so for an hour we did that and called the doctor. the doctor said wait till they are 3-5 mins apart and come to the hospital. about 9 they were 2-6 mins apart and we went to the hospital i was admitted to the triage. The measured my cervix it was at a 4. and my water did not break but was leaking (we were not sure because, i threw up at 7 and wasnt sure if i peed my pants or if the water broke.) they were not able to see my contractions really because they were in the back not the front (i was worried they were going to send me home, cuz i was in pain, even if the screen didn’t show it) my mom and dad made it to the hospital a little after we got there. and a little bit longer i was admitted to the labor and delivery room. And i do apologize to everyone that was in that room with me. I was not a nice person. i did not want to be touched, talked to, or moved. i was in so much pain my whole body was just shaking. all i wanted was complete silence and Clif to hold my hand. I kept yelling at Clif telling him to stop moving, he couldn’t figure out what was going on, he was being completely still, he thought it was just me cuz i was shaking so bad. finally we figured it out, he would barely brush the bad with his knee every once in a while and i could feel that. i even got mad at my mom for her phone ringing. after about an hour of no one being able to touch me, i finally let the nurse touch me and she checked to see how far i was dilated, i was at 7, and i could get and epidural.
after the epidural i was i completely new person, i let people watch tv, i was talking to every one. i couldn’t feel a thing. it was great. i little bit longer i was at a 9. the doctor came in and broke what was left of my water. and i started pushing. everyone was telling me how great i was doing. i didn’t know what they were talking about, all i knew was i was trying to push but couldn’t feel a thing so i was acting like i was pushing, but guess i was doing it right. i did ask that no one told me what was going on, i knew i would freak out and that could end badly. after 45 mins of pushing Brighton was born. and he was the cutest like gross thing i had ever seen.
Glad he is here! He missed Quinn's birthday by one day... His is the 22nd. :) He is adorable! Can't wait to see him! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI love it! My favorite part was when you weren't sure if you peed your pants or not. HAHA the joys of pregnancy!! That is awesome! I've been dying to hear your birth story so I'm so so glad you posted it! THANKS!!! My mom asked if we went to the hospital to see you and realized that I was a bad friend and did not. Sorry. But i do wanna meet your little one and watch you being a mom. I'm only just a tad jealous =]
